CULLMAN OKTOBERFEST

Kurt the Roving Tubadour will be adding German sounds and sights as he strolls the Octoberfest grounds Friday afternoon and evening. He will be playing his 1884 Helicon- a rare instrument that is the “father” to today’s tuba and Sousaphone. He will also be performing additional songs from his tented location.

Kurt Heinecke directed the Cullman High School German Band for two years in the early 80’s under Herr Swofford. He is currently a composer and musician in the Nashville area.
Cullman Oktoberfest would like to recognize Mitch Smith Chevrolet as a major contributor and supporter. Be sure to stop by and thank them for their support. You can also check out their amazing deals on their website https://www.mschev.com/

We do the best we can with our budget. We expect this year to be the best ever! So, if you've never been to Cullman Oktoberfest, you don't know what you are missing!

Nicole Vance,
President of Board of Directors

If you want to be a part of our event, please send in your idea to [email protected] and the Board will see if it will fit into our agenda. The deadline for any idea submitted is July 1st. We have Committee members that have their own event in association with Cullman Oktoberfest; we can always expand with more. We are working on band contracts, shirt ideas, layout of the event, children’s activities, food vendors, arts & crafts, etc. to make the 2018 Cullman Oktoberfest the best ever!l
